CHERRYDALE ORDERS ARE AVAILABLE FOR PICK-UP IN THE BOOK STORAGE ROOM (across from the cafeteria) on Friday November 21st: 6pm to 7pm Orders not picked up by 7pm Friday November 21st will not be available again until Tuesday December 9th at the PTA meeting & Orchestra Concert. Orders not picked up by 8pm Tuesday December 9th at the PTA meeting will be returned to Cherrydale.

The faculty and staff of John Yeates Middle School strive to

provide a quality education for each of our students.

One of our priorities is to meet and exceed the

Standards of Learning set forth by the Commonwealth of Virginia.

We feel that all students are capable of learning when given the proper environment that encourages them to strive for their highest potential. 

We believe that the joint efforts of school, home and community are essential todevelop a positive self-image and to foster academic,

socialand personal growth of our students.

We will endeavor to extend to them a supportive, caring, and safe

environment to promote becoming responsible citizens and
