KING’S
FORK HIGH SCHOOL TECHNOLOGY FOUNDATIONS STUDENTS
DESIGN HOMECOMING TRELLIS
The Technology Foundations class at King’s Fork
High School, under the supervision of Mr. Wayne Reynolds (teacher),
designed and constructed this unique trellis for the first homecoming
celebration.
This project required students to couple their
individual special talents and technical skills with the application
of the academic Standards of Learning (particularly mathematics).
NRHS Team Tackles TSA Nationals
For the second year in a row Nansemond
River High School was represented at TSA (Technology Student Association)
Nationals by a team of four students. These students competed in
a number of different areas. Preparation for TSA National competition
took a lot of hard work. These students gave up time after other
students went home and they even gave up a week of their summer
in order to represent their school. TSA Nationals was held in Nashville,
Tennessee June 2004. NRHS and the parents of this team should be
very proud of the efforts made by these outstanding students and
congratulate them for a job well done.
Stephen Wilson and Britney Crow
managed to bring home top ten in Technological Systems.
