Career Expo 2004

Career Expo 2004, sponsored by Suffolk Public Schools’ Career and Technical Education Advisory Council, Suffolk Public Schools’ Career and Technical Education Department, and the Holiday Inn-Suffolk was held on December 1, 2004, hosted by the Holiday Inn-Suffolk. This expo has for more than 10 years, prepared high school seniors real-world experiences in the job-search process.

Forty-two representatives from 28 businesses conducted 695 student interviews. This year’s 219 student participants received an average of three (3) interviews with area business and industry representatives.

In the words of a King’s Fork High School student, “Career Expo 2004 was a very good experience to prepare me for the corporate world.”
