Marketing Education courses prepare students for entry-level positions and/or continued education in a variety of careers that require knowledge or communications, economics, and psychology as well as techniques in sales, promotion, and management.

DECA: An Association of Marketing Students, is the co-curricular Marketing student organization designed to provide students with opportunities to develop a better understanding of the business world, increase awareness of civic responsibilities, and develop social poise and leadership skills.

To affiliate and participate in DECA activities sponsored by the state and national organizations, students must hold paid membership in the local DECA chapter at his/her high school. There are approximately 126 students who hold membership in DECA for the 2004-2005 school year.
