Articulation Agreement
Suffolk Public Schools and Paul D. Camp Community College
The Marketing Management program is designed
to prepare students for a variety of positions and careers in
marketing. At the high school course level, students gain experience
by working in the cooperative marketing program or through classroom
instruction. At the college course level, students gain additional
experience through classroom simulations and case studies.
At the college level, students will complete
more advanced college courses with emphasis on management and
a more challenging program of academic studies in algebra, science,
and English with a focus on applied approaches and practical experiences.
High School Career and Technical Prerequisites:
Marketing
Advanced Marketing
College Prerequisites:
Placement recommendation (ENG 111)
Placement recommendation (MTH 141 or MTH 151)
MTH 141 or MTH 151 (MTH 142 or MTH 152)
ENG 111 (ENG 112)
ACC 111/112 or ACC 211/213 (ACC 122/114 or ACC 212/214)
Articulated Credits
Once the student has met all of the requirements outlined in the
articulation agreement,
equivalent credit for the following articulated courses will appear
on the student’s PDCCC transcript by course title and credit hours
(without tuition or fees)
BUS 100 Introduction to Business (3 credits)
MKT 100 Principles of Marketing (3 credits)
Students who plan to transfer to other four-year
colleges must develop a specific course plan with their Paul D.
Camp Community College advisor.
