Congratulations to Anne Hudson, LVT the 2004-05 CTE Teacher of the Year.

Mrs. Hudson graduated summa cum laude with her A.A.S. in Veterinary Technology from Blue Ridge Community College in 1988, and is a certified laboratory animal technician. She worked in emergency medicine from 1988 until 2000; as a licensed veterinary technician for the Navy's Clinical Investigation Department from 1991 until 1997. Mrs. Hudson was working for Veterinary Surgical Specialists when she was hired by The Pruden Center. She has served as adjunct faculty for Blue Ridge Community College's distance education program for veterinary technicians, was president of the Virginia Association of Licensed Veterinary Technicians in 1997, and was a contributing author for the textbook Exotic Animal Medicine for the Veterinary Technician published by Iowa State Press in 2003.
