* Foreign Language (Two years), while not required
for the Standard Diploma, is required for the Tech Prep seal.
Foreign Language is important for competing in a global marketplace.
Also, with one additional course in foreign language, math, science,
and history, students may qualify for the 24-credit Advanced Studies
diploma.
** High school
Career and Technical Education courses satisfy the requirement
for Fine Arts or Practical Arts credits.
Notes:
- This basic program of study
plus six (6) electives meets minimum requirements for the
22-credit Standard Diploma. Foreign Language as shown in the
schedule above counts as two (2) of the six (6) required electives.
- Foreign Language (1) and
Algebra (1) credits may be earned in middle school.
- Complete the schedule by
adding the Career and Technical Education courses that best
match your career interests. Remaining elective openings may
be used for cooperative experiences if available in your chosen
area, for additional courses for specialization in your area,
or other electives of interest.
