Technology
Education courses provide challenging experiences in the
study of a variety of technologies that challenge the student’s
ability to apply scientific principles, engineering concepts, and
technological systems. Students develop higher-order thinking skills
through practical problem solving experiences.
The Technology Student Association
(TSA) prepares students for the challenges of a dynamic world by
promoting technological literacy, leadership, and problem solving,
resulting in personal growth and opportunities. "Learning to
live in a technical world" is the motto of TSA.
To affiliate and participate in
TSA activities sponsored by the state and national organizations,
students must hold paid membership in the local TSA chapter at his/her
high school. There are approximately 70 students who hold membership
in TSA for the 2004-2005 school year.
