Academically gifted students are challenged in honors, advanced placement, and dual credit classes. Some of the academically gifted students are also selected to participate in the Governor’s Summer Residential Program.

Students who are gifted in the performing arts are given the opportunity to participate in audition for the Governor’s School for the Arts. Band, orchestra, upper level arts courses, and drama are available to student at the high school level.
