What is the Foundation? It is a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization established to enhance Suffolk Public Schools, through partnership with the community.

How are funds raised?
By approaching a variety of sources. We solicit the financial support of school personnel, students, and parents; businesses and trust funds; civic groups and churches; as well as retired citizens and other residents through memorial gifts and estates. Fund-raising events are planned each year such as a golf tournament and benefit performance by the Hurrah Players.

Why give to the SEF?
Suffolk is our home. Today's students will soon be our employees, our customers, our community leaders, the country's decision makers -- our future. Contributing to the Suffolk Education foundation today is an investment in a better, stronger tomorrow for us all! The Foundation is committed to improving the quality of education in our community.

Our Students are Going Places, and your donation can help them get there!
$18,000 in Scholarship Awards--This spring the Foundation expects to award at least 12 new scholarships totaling $12, 000. Another six students already in college are eligible for an additional $1,000 each in scholarship funds.
