Suffolk Public Schools has supported the March of Dimes Suffolk March for Babies (formally WalkAmerica) for nearly 20 years. The 2007 Walk raised more than $60,000. Do a good deed and have fun doing it ... join us at this year's march.

The 2008 March for Babies will be held in Suffolk on Sunday, April 27, beginning at 12:30 p.m. at Constant's Wharf Park.  The walk route will loop through Riverview, Lakeside, and downtown.

The Suffolk Public Schools' team was the top 2007 fundraiser in Suffolk, raising $22,500! Every school participated with John Yeates Middle, Driver Elementary, and Mack Benn, Jr., Elementary schools all raising more than$2,500 each. Six more schools raised more than $1,000 each.
