Super Star

Super Star is the school division’s latest addition to the staff – and he’s eager to bring excitement to your next school event. During the 2004-05 school year, Super Star helped bring the message that Suffolk Public Schools believes that Every Child is a Star … Together, We Help Them Shine!  He made appearances at PTA events, school celebrations, CARE Fair, Peanut Fest, the downtown Christmas Parade, and helped to hand out awards at several school-wide and city-wide ceremonies. Here are the requirements for booking Super Star: 

• The school must provide an escort … because it’s hard to maneuver in the costume, he doesn’t talk and children are sometimes too rough with him. 

• The costume gets very warm, so limit Super Star’s appearances to about
  20-minutes.
