Pre-International Baccalaureate Psychology/Social Science Teacher

Applicants should hold or be eligible to hold a Virginia License with appropriate endorsement. Three to five years of secondary experience is preferred. Applicant must be available to attend professional development training and participate in curriculum development during Fall of 2008. Student Support Counselor

Candidates must have a Master's Degree in School Counseling. Must have demonstrated knowledge of Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs. Must be eligible for endorsement as a School Counselor by the Virginia Department of Education. Secondary guidance professional to provide and coordinate career development services to current and future students enrolled in the Pruden Center's Career and Technical programs. The Student Support Counselor (SSC) will support CTE. Additionally, the SSC will coordinate with administrators, guidance professionals, teachers, parents, business/industry, postsecondary institutions, and community organizations to support student transition to postsecondary education, industry certification/credentials, and employment. Strong CTE knowledge is preferred. The Pruden Center for Industry & Technology is a regional public secondary school serving Suffolk Public Schools and Isle of Wight County Public Schools.
