Vivian Covington Principal |

Mrs. Covington has been the principal of JFKMS for seven years. Mrs. Covington earned her B.S. from Elizabeth City State University. She continued her education and obtained her Master's from Norfolk State University. In addition, she obtained a Certificate of Advance Studies (CAS) from Old Dominion University and her CAGS from Virginia Tech. We at John F. Kennedy are proud to have her as our leader and friend. Her dedication to the education of our youth is unquestionable. |

Supporting Mrs. Covington and assisting in administration are two wonderful and special people. Their energies and efforts are devoted to creating an atmosphere of learning which can only be described by the word EXCELLENCE. They have both proven their desire and dedication, sharing innovative ideas and time-proven techniques for the encouragement of the teaching staff. Their desire to work with the youth and provide a safe, enjoyable, and effective learning environment continues to be their primary objective each and every school day. |
