Rework & Late Work Policies

REWORK: In order to help my students be successful, I have put in place a rework policy in my classroom.  This policy will not only improve your child’s scores on low grades, but also help them learn from their own mistakes and gain a better understanding of the material. 

 

The Rework policy is as follows:

1.  Students may rework any grade below 70% on a test or quiz in ENGLISH class.  (Teacher reserves the right to exempt assignments from the policy)

2.  Rework must be turned in 3 day’s after it is returned to you.

3.  Parents must sign the original quiz and test paper.

4.  On a separate sheet of paper, students should correct all WRONG answers and explain why the new answer is the correct answer based on their notes or the text.

5. Students must staple corrected paper on top of original test/quiz and place rework in their classes’ basket. 

 

Students will earn up to a 70% on reworked tests/quizzes provided they have answered the questions correctly and followed the rework policy format.  Extra Credit Coupons may be used on Rework.
