Preferred Activity Time, also known as P.A.T., is a way for the students to manage their classroom behavior, actions and time. P.A.T. is not free time, but more of a game time. We will earn minutes and seconds throughout the week and then each Thursday will be able to take that time and play games that reinforce what we will have our test on each Friday. It may be vocabulary games, baseball or football games, computer time or all of the above. This is where the ball is in your court! You are the ones who manage the time. The faster you transition into a new activity, the more P.A.T. time you can earn. It is all about time management and you are the boss! |
