I am a graduate of Old Dominion University with a BS in Human Services Counseling and a minor in Psychology.  I am currently working on my Master Degree in Special Education.  I am licensed in the state of Virginia to teach Specific Learning Disabilities and Emotional Disturbed K-12. 
 Prior to coming to Lakeland 3 years ago.  I worked at the Probation and Parole Office and Community Corrections Program in Chesapeake, Farm Fresh and Medical Transport. All after doing 24 years in the Navy.

The Regulations Governing Special Education Programs for Children with Disabilities in Virginia, effective March 27, 2002, (the Virginia Regulations), must be revised to comply with the changes outlined in the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act of 2004 (IDEA ’04), and its federal implementing regulations. This page will be updated periodically to provide critical information as the revision process moves forward.
