CLASS OF 2008 IMPORTANT DATES AND INFORMATION

April 7 – May 28…Pay class dues to Mr. Goin (110) $45 until through April 30, 2008

In order to guarantee that a tee shirt is available for, you need to pay your dues as soon as possible!  On May 7, 2008 dues become a senior debt and will be reported on the Debt Form you will receive.

April 7 – April 30th  - Opportunity to order Cap and Gown for $38.85 - See Mr. Mitnick

April 9 - End of 3rd Marking Period

April 10 – Early Release day – Blocks 2, 4, & 6 – Dismissal at 11:45

April 12 – ACT given at Lakeland High School

April 14 - 3rd Qtr Report Cards Issued

April 14 - 18 - Term Graduate SOL Testing

April 17 & 18 - Jostens delivers the graduation items and caps and gowns ordered in
     December during all lunch shifts

April 23 & 24 – Cap and Gown Pictures – Must have $15 Sitting Fee

PROM tickets on Sale …$40 / person – permission form required when purchasing

May 3 – SAT Reasoning Test at Lakeland High School

May 7 – June 13…Pay your debts!!!   Notices given out on Tuesday, May 7, 2008.

May 5 – May 14…AP Testing – See Ms. Lascano with Questions

May 12– May 23…End of Course SOL Testing for all students currently in an SOL Class

May 16 – Last day to purchase Prom tickets – See Ms. Handy (Room 106 or Ms.
              Patterson in the Media Center

May 27 - Senior Picnic

May 28 - Rehearsal for Senior Awards Night / only for those who have returned RSVP

May 28…Senior Awards Program and Reception (Evening)

May 28 & May 29 - Exam exemptions announced by teachers (Seniors Only)

May 30 - Prom – Chesapeake Conference Center

May 30/31…After Prom sponsored by NRHS PTSA

June 2 - 5 ...Senior Exams – Tentative (To Be Determined by SPS Administrative Offices)

June 7 – SAT Reasoning Test given at NRHS

June 13…Graduation Rehearsal – NRHS Gymnasium – Time to be determined – REQUIRED TO PARTICPATE IN GRADUATION – 6 tickets for Graduation (4 for in the Gym and 2 for in the Auditorium) will be given to each graduate (distributed after graduation rehearsal).

June 14…GRADUATION – 9:00 am

ALL debts MUST be paid before diplomas are issued.
