In order to increase the numbers of top notch students in the College of Engineering, CEED hosts various programs throughout the year to introduce high school students to engineering at Virginia Tech. As a part of these efforts, CEED will host an event for high school sophomores with an interest in engineering are invited. Deadline March 22, 2010.

JETS – is the “nation’s premier educational organization helping students explore, assess and experience engineering.” Explore engineering by ordering a copy of EXPLORE magazine at www.jets.org.

The Norfolk Naval Shipyard Apprenticeship Program is currently accepting applications for entry into the program in July / August, .  Interested students must complete the application process between October 5, 2009 and December 7, 2009.   An information packet is available from Mr. Mitnick in Guidance.

Ohio State University offers scholarships for out of state student (Morrill Scholars Program).  Scholarships are from $7,200 – full out-of-state tuition to full out-of state expenses.  Visit: www.meritawards.osu.edu
