           I enjoyed our trip to the mall for the DECA competition (even though we didn’t do much shopping…LOL). A small group of us represented Nansemond River by competing in the Regional DECA competition. Everyone that participated placed and won an award. It was a great experience to compete against some of the best students from so many other schools and be able to come out on top. I would strongly encourage any other students to take part in DECA. It will be an experience that you will really enjoy.
