Safety officials, like the Chesapeake Fire Department, are concerned with the numerous safety hazards within the plant. Firemen proposed a multi-paged safety regulation that details systematic procedures in case of an accident that, unless approved,  will halt construction.

With the recent closing of the  Ford Pick-up truck manufacturing plant due to outsourcing, many workers will benefit from the new jobs introduced by the plant.   

Bio-diesel is a form of

Today’s focus, referring to the Hampton Roads area of Virginia, will be about the  new Smiling Earth Energy Bio-Diesel Plant.  This technologically advanced bio-diesel plant will bring money into Virginia, in the form of jobs and more efficient fuel. This new advancement in alternative fuel will surely bring a new wave of green for the citizens of Chesapeake.

Of course, this new bio-diesel plant will be sure to bring concerns. One such concern is  having a highly flammable production plant within close proximity of many homes and businesses; new traffic problems

alternative fuel in which emissions are less harmful to the environment when compared with conventional diesel fuel. Smiling Earth Energy will be producing bio-diesel fuel that is derived from the Jatropha Plant. This plant, as of now, is a promising new addition to the bio-diesel family.

over 300 million discarded a year.  Rubber mulch is made of recycled tires.  It looks just like average wood mulch, and can be any color desired.  It is extraordinarily durable, forming an insulated cover over the soil in flower beds.  It cover and protects roots, and successfully keeps out weeds.  It traps water, keeping moisture close to roots and preventing evaporation.  Unlike wood mulch, it will take much longer to break down, remaining insulating year round.  Rubber mulch will last for years, preventing the need to buy new muclh

The finishing touches on any lawn is mulch.  It covers our flower beds, filling in gaps, preventing weeds, slowing evaporation, prevents erosion and completes our look.  Most people choose to go with a wood mulch.  While effective, wood mulch soon breaks down, and becomes part of the soil, and its effectiveness is lost.  There is another kind of mulch though, that will be effective much longer. 

Rubber mulch is made of recycled tires.  Tires are one of the biggest contributors to trash in out landfills, with

each year.  It is more effective and will save you time and money.  Rubber mulch can be found online and in many lawn and garden centers.
