What Sets Us Apart

ABOUT US

Our Vision

Suffolk Public Schools is Where Excellence Is Realized—through high-quality education, inclusive and supportive learning environments, and strong partnerships that empower every student to succeed.

Student Internships

The S.T.A.R program is an opportunity for rising junior and senior students to participate in a paid, high-quality, work-based learning experience within school division departments, where workplace readiness skills acquired in the classroom translate into real-world applications.

Community Partners

We promote meaningful involvement among families, community partners, volunteers, and local organizations. These collaborative partnerships strengthen student achievement that enhance learning both inside and outside the classroom.

Military Connections

We recogize that military-connected students face unique challenges that come with military life, and are dedicated to providing a welcoming and engaging school environment.

Specialty Programs

Suffolk Public Schools has five high school speciality programs: International Baccalaurate (IB), Project-Lead-The-Way Biomedical Sciences, Project-Lead-The-Way Engineering, The College and Career Academy at Pruden and the Center for Performance and Production Arts.

Academics

Academics are grounded in high expectations and a commitment to continuous growth. We provide engaging learning experiences that challenge students to think critically, ensuring every learner is prepared for success in college, careers, and life.
