Home instruction ... sometimes called home schooling ... is one alternative to compulsory school attendance laws in Virginia.
Suffolk Public Schools' staff will assist you with the necessary steps to take in order to provide home instruction. The information included on this page guides you through the process in order to ensure that your child or children have the necessary resources for a successful home instruction experience.
The state-required deadline to submit your Notice of Intent form is August 15.
