New 24/7 Support Resource Available for SPS Students & Families

Suffolk Public Schools is committed to supporting the well-being and success of every student and family we serve. As part of this commitment, we are pleased to introduce an additional resource designed to provide immediate support and guidance for our school community.

SPS is partnering with ReachOut, a 24/7 support line that allows students, staff, and families to connect with a trained counselor at any time—day or night. This service is available by phone, text, or web-based chat, making it easily accessible whenever support is needed.

This resource is designed to assist individuals who may be navigating a variety of life situations, including:

  • Managing stress or everyday challenges
  • Working through difficult or unexpected circumstances
  • Seeking guidance or someone to talk to in a safe, confidential space

How to Access ReachOut:

When accessing the service, individuals will be connected with a trained counselor who can listen and provide immediate support, help de-escalate challenging situations, offer practical strategies to move forward and connect users with additional local or national resources, if needed.

This initiative reflects our ongoing efforts to provide meaningful support systems for our families and ensure that help is always within reach. By offering access to trained professionals 24/7, we aim to strengthen the network of care available to our school community. Thank you for your continued partnership in supporting the success and well-being of all Suffolk Public Schools students.
