Nourishing Our Neighbors Jan. Community Event

The Suffolk Public Schools Food and Nutrition Services Department is hosting the fourth 
"Nourishing Our Neighbors" on Thursday, January 21, at Booker T. Washington Elementary School from 3 pm - 5 pm. In partnership with the Food Bank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore, "Nourishing Our Neighbors" allows SPS to provide fresh produce to families at no cost.

This is a drive-thru event. Please be aware of volunteers wearing bright orange vests, who will be directing traffic. All produce items will be prepped and packaged separately, and distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Available Produce Items:

Clementines (3 lb bag)

Red apples (3 lb bag)

Radishes (1 lb bag)

Russet Potatoes (5 lb bag)

Children do not need to be present to receive produce items. Please follow all CDC guidelines, including wearing a mask.
