The Suffolk Education Foundation Can We Talk?

Teens in a Cyber World: Keep Them Safe
Posted on 05/17/2022
The Suffolk Education Foundation is proud to continue its free webinar series "Can We Talk?"

This month's topic is Teens in a Cyber Wolrd: Keep Them Safe. Keeping our kids safe on the social media and websites is important.  Learn more from the Suffolk Commonwealth's Attorney's Office in this updated presentation, designed to educate students and parents about some of the Internet dangers. Our goal is to bring attention to the fact that much of our personal information is available via the Internet. In fact, violations of our privacy sometimes result in arrest and criminal prosecution. Most of all, we would like our students to think carefully about what they share online and how they treat each other.

PRESENTER: Sean C. Mitchell joined the Suffolk Commonwealth’s Attorney Office in April 2021 and is a member of the General District Team. In 1998, Sean graduated from Old Dominion University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree with emphases in Criminal Justice and Sociology.
