Resource Access Centers

Suffolk Public Schools (SPS) has designated three schools as Resource Access Centers (RAC) in an effort to address the technological access and equity issues some of our students face. The RAC locations have been selected in areas where there are limited technological connections due to the lack of cellular towers and/or lines. SPS students who cannot use a hotspot (Kajeet) in their home area will be allowed to visit a RAC to access and complete school work. Wireless Access Points (outdoor internet access) are also available in select locations.

RAC Schools:

Pioneer Elementary School - Cafeteria

Elephant’s Fork Elementary School - Parent Resource Center in Learning Cottage (modular)
