Registration for the SPS Saturday Academy Session for March 4 is NOW OPEN!
This enrollment is for the March 4 session ONLY. A separate registration must be completed for each session. Due to the planning required for the Saturday sessions, late registrations will NOT be accepted. Students who do not register will not be allowed to attend. *Virtual Tutoring Services will be held from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, following the same schedule as in-person learners. Students can register for live virtual sessions with qualified tutors in available content areas. Students must register and have reliable internet to ensure a quality session.

What is the Purpose of the SPS Saturday Academy?
The Purpose of the SPS Saturday Academy is to offer remediation and acceleration sessions for students. SPS teachers and staff will provide hands-on, interactive instruction and additional support based on recently taught content. Instruction will reinforce identified power skills within specific content areas' Standards of Learning.
When will SPS Saturday Academy Sessions be held?
Sessions will be held every other Saturday through April 29, 2023, with holiday adjustments. Please see the 2022-2023 SPS Saturday Academy schedule below:
2022 - 10/15, 10/29, 11/19, 12/3, 1
2023 - 1/7, 1/21, 2/4, 2/18, 3/4, 3/18, 4/1, and 4/29
9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Elephant's Fork ES for grades K-5
King's Fork MS for middle and high school

High 9-12 - Algebra I, Biology, English 9-12, Geometry, World History I
Will SPS Provide Transportation?
SPS will not provide transportation, so parents are responsible for the drop-off and pick-up of their child(ren). A drop-off/pickup document will be emailed to approved applicants, which should be displayed on the car dashboard. Students can be dropped off for breakfast at 8:45 AM and must be picked up at 12:00 PM. Secondary students can attend two sessions during the day but must be dropped off and picked up at the appropriate session time. Violations of the drop-off and pick-up times will result in the student not being allowed to attend future sessions. Breakfast and a snack will be provided.
Will Make-Up Work Be Provided?
Make-Up Work will NOT be provided.
