Student Dismissal Procedures

Listed below are the dismissal options at Creekside Elementary.


  1. Permanent Pick-Ups:  Parents requesting to pick up students daily will need to complete the “Permanent Pick-Up Application” to secure car/student tags.  These students dismiss at the front of the school and are escorted to the parent/guardian’s vehicle.  Permanent pickup will begin to dismiss at 3:50 pm.  The Permanent Pick-Up Application is on the website in PDF format.  Please return the application and present ID at the school to secure your tags on the following dates/times:


Thursday 8/24 (2:00 - 5:00),   Monday 8/28 (2:00 - 5:00),  Tuesday 8/29 (2:00 - 5:00),  Wednesday 8/30 (2:00 - 4:30),  Thursday 8/31 (2:00 - 5:00),  Friday 9/1 (2:00 - 5:00)


  1. Bus Riders:  Once school begins, parents requesting to add bus transportation must complete a bus request form through the CES office staff. These students will be dismissed at 3:50 pm at the bus ramp.  Actual dismissal time may vary depending on bus arrival times.
  2. Walkers:  Parents requesting their child(ren) walk to and from school must complete the SPS waiver to get permission from the school.  Walkers will dismiss at 3:45 pm at the side of the building. 
  3. Special Circumstance Pick-ups:  Parents/guardians requesting to pick up their child(ren) on special occasions will park in the side lot and sign their child(ren) out at the front door.  These students will be dismissed at 3:50 pm.  For safety reasons, parents requesting students after 3:25 pm may be delayed until the 3:50 dismissal time.
