Bennett’s Creek Service To Man (SERTOMA) Club Donates $31,000 to Support Students with Hearing Impairments

The Bennett’s Creek Service to Man (SERTOMA) Club has a long-standing commitment to service that perfectly aligns with our district’s mission to remove barriers to learning and foster equity for all students. On behalf of our students, faculty, and staff, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Lora and the members of the Bennett’s Creek SERTOMA Club for their generous $31,000 donation to Suffolk Public Schools in support of students with hearing impairments. A significant portion of this donation will be used to purchase auditory equipment for the Lakeland High School auditorium, enhancing accessibility and ensuring that all students can fully hear and engage with presentations and performances alongside their peers. This generous contribution not only supports inclusive education but also highlights how strong community partnerships can improve the lives of students across our district.
