Our Suffolk Public Schools Fall Teacher Job Fair will be held On Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Col. Fred Cherry Middle School, located at 7401 Burbage Drive, Suffolk, VA 23435. The event will be held in person and virtually, offering candidates multiple opportunities to connect with school administrators and hiring teams.

The Teacher Job Fair is designed for candidates who are eligible for Virginia licensure, recent graduates completing student teaching, and current SPS employees seeking transfer opportunities. The division also welcomes applicants interested in provisional entry teaching positions and those qualified in special education fields, including occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, and school psychology.

Participants will have the opportunity to meet school staff, learn about open positions, and interview with administrators during the event. Walk-ins are welcome; however, attendees are encouraged to register in advance at https://www.applitrack.com/spsk12/onlineapp/.

Applicants should bring appropriate documentation based on their eligibility:

• Virginia-certified teachers: Valid VA teaching certificate

• Out-of-state candidates: Valid teaching certificate and Praxis scores

• New graduates: Letter of eligibility from their college or university or official transcripts and Praxis scores

• Associate teachers: Bachelor’s degree and proof of enrollment in a teacher preparation program
