Developing Safe Communities and Schools Partnership Series

Developing Safe Communities and Schools is a series in partnership with the Suffolk Police Department, Suffolk Commonwealth Attorney's Office, Suffolk Sheriff's Office, and the Norfolk FBI Field Office.

Join us for the first of our three-part series on Tuesday, October 17, at Lakeland High School - Bullying Prevention and Awareness Parent and Student Information Night from 6 PM - 7:30 PM. Panelists will discuss the signs of bullying and bullying behavior, how to approach bullying situations, what parents can do if they know their child is being bullied, and how Suffolk Public Schools responds to any reports of bullying.

This three-part series aims to provide information to both our Suffolk students and parents to bring awareness to bullying, gun violence and gang violence, and to share what YOU can do to help make our schools and communities safe places for all.
