Ms. Richard's sixth grade class was investigating Genetics by exploring dragon genetics. Students worked in pairs and each partner received a "dragon egg" with a set of chromosomes that contained information about their various traits. Students would "hatch" their egg and complete Punnett squares to determine what their dragon actually looked like. Next, each partner would select a chromosome from their egg along with their partners to reveal traits of their baby dragon.
Dragon Genetics

(Once all the traits were determined for their baby dragon, they would draw and color the newly hatched dragon)!
