Bag Protocol
To continue prioritizing the safety and security of students, staff, and the school community, Suffolk Public Schools has implemented a bag protocol for all games and events. A bag protocol helps speed entry into school buildings and events, reduces the likelihood of contraband or prohibited items being brought onto campus, and increases visibility for school staff and safety personnel to maintain a secure environment.
All attendees may only bring:
- (1) Clear bag (12" x 12" x 6") and/or
- (1) Small clutch or pouch (no larger than 4.5" x 6.5") for personal items
Medical bags and diaper bags are permitted but are subject to inspection upon entry.
Security checks remain in place at all events. Failure to comply with the bag protocol may result in denial of entry. Refunds will not be issued.
Families and attendees are encouraged to plan ahead by leaving non-compliant bags at home, arriving early to allow time for security screening, and bringing only essential items in an approved clear bag. Students who are not participating in a game or performing at an event are encouraged to go home first, then return with only the items permitted for entry.
