Suffolk Public Schools is providing a list of online providers for students who are unable to get into summer school for Summer 2022. The information found below is an alternative to SPS summer school in the instance that our program is full.
Online Summer School Options for SPS Secondary Students
Summer 2022
Students in need of summer school REPEAT courses for promotion to the next grade level in the areas of Science, Math, Social Studies, English, World Languages, and Economics and Personal Finance may contact the providers listed below to determine if summer school courses are being offered for Summer 2022. Students who wish to take courses with these providers MUST have prior approval from the school counselor or building administrator before enrolling and receiving transfer credit. Students who do not receive prior approval will not receive standard credit for those courses. Students must have prior approval by June 30, 2022 and ALL courses must be completed by August 5, 2022. Students may be required to take a Virginia End of Course test in the fall for courses taken in the summer in order to meet graduation requirements.

Additional courses may be available through Virtual Virginia and will require a fee due at the time of registration via credit/debit card. Registration for Virtual Virginia may be done at the student’s high school by the school counselor.
