Mack Benn, Jr. Elementary students help Virginia's First Lady Dorothy McAuliffe kick off  Virginia Lottery's Teacher Appreciation Campaign. The Superintendent's first annual All-Star Volunteer Celebration provided fun for SPS volunteers who'd logged 25+ hours this school year.  The family-friendly event included a photo booth. The Suffolk Sheriff's Department and Suffolk Business Women cooked and served dinner at All-Star Volunteer Celebration to thank SPS volunteers who'd logged 25+ hours this school year. City-wide, these top 5 volunteers logged more than 300 hours each -- with Regina England of Elephant's Fork Elementary volunteering for 541 hours. The first annual All-Star Volunteer Celebration recognized 2,029 volunteer who logged 10,900 volunteer hours this school year.
