  • The King's Fork HS band participated in the Hopewell HS Wonder City Classic marching band competition on October 5th and achieved the following results:
     
    2nd Place AAA Percussion
    1st Place AAA Band 
    1st Place AAA Flag
    1st Place AAA Dance 
    1st Place AAA Drum Major 
    1st Place Open Class majorette 
     
    And the Grand Champion award for highest scoring band at the event. In addition, this Grand Champion Award came with an $1,000 prize that will be sent at a later date. 
     
    Thank you to the band staff and students for another outstanding performance!!! 
     
    The King’s Fork HS band participated in the Norview HS “Pilot Classic” on Saturday October 12, 2024 and earned the following accolades:
     
    1st Place Open Class Majorettes
    1st Place Open Class Drum Majors
    1st Place AAA Flags
    1st Place AAA Dance 
    1st Place AAA Drumline
    1st Place AAA Overall Band 
     
    And the Grand Champion Award for highest scoring band at the competition out of 10 participating bands. This marks the 3rd straight Grand Champion Award this season and the 12th straight Grand Champion award in “Traditional Style” Marching events dating back to 2019. Congratulations to the Boosters, Band Staff, and especially the STUDENT PERFORMERS!!
