Diploma Options
High school students are required to earn 22 credits to graduate with a standard diploma and 26 credits for an advanced studies diploma. Beyond a high school diploma, students have diploma options including Academic Scholars, Early College Scholars, and Paul D. Camp Community College Degree or Certificate.

Community Service RequirementThe community service requirement is designed to promote civic responsibility through active participation in service experiences, to enhance the student' ability and desire to impact the community, to foster a sense of caring for others, and to develop a habit of volunteer service to those in need as a part of the College and Career Readiness initiative. Students must earn 50 hours of community service before graduation.
Virginia's Credentialing Initiative
First-time ninth graders in the 2013-2014 school year and beyond must earn a Virginia Department of Education approved Career and Technical Education industry credential to graduate from high school with a standard diploma.
