    At Nansemond River High School, we believe that the opportunity for the student athlete to participate in a wide variety of student selected activities is a vital part of the educational experience.

    Nansemond River High School offers over 35 sports and activities for both young men and women to continue the development of their physical, mental, social, and emotional growth during the high school years.

    Nansemond River High School abides by the rules and regulations of the Virginia High School League, Region 5B, and Southeastern District for the by-laws, rules and regulations, and our scheduling.
