Applications for our Suffolk Public Schools S.T.A.R. (Start Today and Rise) student internship program are now available exclusively for 2023-2024 Juniors and Seniors. Working within several of our school division’s departments gives students a high-quality work-based learning experience during the school year.

Applications are available starting Friday, November 17th through Tuesday, December 5th. The application deadline is extended through Friday, December 8th.

Internship start dates will vary but are anticipated to begin in mid-January 2024 upon our return for the new year. Students will intern from January - June 2024. The starting pay is $15.41. Students must have an approved work hour in their schedule, and if selected to participate in the program, they will need to secure their own transportation.
