• Academic Planning for Military Families
As you begin your academic planning for your child, you are encouraged to reach out to the guidance department at your child's school, or you can also contact the Office of Student Services at 757-925-6750. Ahead of these conversations, though, please note the following offerings in Suffolk Public Schools:

    - All of Suffolk's high schools are accredited by the Virginia Department of Education's Standards of Learning.
    - Each Suffolk Public high school offers industry certification opportunities that allow students to prepare for future careers and workplace success while still in high school.

Suffolk Public Schools students can also participate in the ongoing partnership with the campus of College and Career Academy at Pruden, which provides students additional workforce skills and credentials (i.e., welding and Auto CAD) and college credit for dual enrollment courses with Camp Community College.
